Welcome to my blog and thank you for joining me in an ongoing discussion about Special Education in Arlington Public Schools.  My goal for this blog is to increase the transparency and discussion between the Special Education administration and school staff and parents.  I think this tool has great potential to help us grow as a community and share our ideas and thoughts as we move forward.

While I am so excited to use this blog and think it holds limitless potential, it is also important to observe the rules for using this tool.  This blog is 100% public and therefore we will not use this forum to discuss particular students, cases, or staff.  We will use this to share ideas, understandings and direction.  Also, I want to encourage the back and forth discussion though sending comments.  Unfortunately, that will require that I approve all comments before they are posted.  This again is to preserve confidentiality and to ensure that we are all able to have a productive discussion.
